Ok so I have at&t and I want to switch to verizon. The problem is I have the Iphone 4g and I want to get the Thunderbolt. Now since the Iphone is coming to verizon that means millions of iphone users will switch over and then the market will be flooded with iphones and no one to buy them. I want to get top dollar for my phone. So my problem is Idk what to do because I want the thunderbolt and by time its out iphone will be out which means my att iphone will be worth nothing. Any suggestions?

I would unlock and jailbreak your phone. I sold my 3GS for $400 when the 4 came out. People will still be on ATT, People will want the Verizon iPhone because you can flash it to cricket which has $55 unlimited everything.

Nope...not illegal, just voids warranty.

If you are on 4.2 or 4.1. You can jailbreak, but can't unlock. Unlock=Able to use on Tmobile.

Restore the phone before going to apple "setup as new" and never talk about the jailbreak.. 4.2.1 you can't jailbreak or unlock ATM. You can jailbreak but you need a computer to reboot it whenever it reboots. Do you have any SHSH saved?

The jailbreak is a pain, if your phone every turns off, you will need to find a computer to reboot. If you want a 4.2.1 tethered jailbreak here is the link. It's not going to give you a good resale value though.
