Nice phone. Have had for a year or so. Switched from Palm PDA to droid because Palm effectively walked away from what I thought was the best user interface available. Have spent the year looking for apps that work the same as the Palm. Recent issues: Won't download business cards into Mercedes car-phone; after much research, Mercedes isn't compatible with droidX so the car is effectively just a very large, heavy hands-free device. After missing several appointments I found the phone was randomly NOT saving appointments. Considered changing everything over to COZI, but backpedaled and am expirementing with entering appointment into phone, then confirming on my desktop Outlook. It appears either the phone is flaky or google is not doing something right. Most frustrating.

Welcome. You can try using Evernote (syncs to desktop and app).

I got it I got it I got it!

I discovered the phone was not saving photographs. They showed up in the lower window but when trying to recall them from memory I would only get an icon and under properties, the file size was zero! I had saved a whole lot of photo's on the phone and all the information available suggested I had more than sufficient memory to save photos and data. WRONG! When I deleted one photo, I was able to save one (only!) photo. I cleaned out a lot of dead-stuff and the phone is now saving appointments and taking pictures like it should. I need to read-up on memory useage and management I guess. Thanks all for the responses!

May be fixed - or not

gmail calendar syncs w/outlook fine. Phone doesn't seem to upload to google calendar or outlook. I'm thinking droid calendar app is corrupted - used to work. Went to Verizon store and they did some sync that duplicated ALL appointments appearing on my phone. Just confirmed appt entered into droid calendar did NOT upload into google or outlook. This used to work (I think), wonder what happened.
