I took off the screen cover. and it wasnt it. i wiped it off multiple times. nothing helps. how do i de-root it so i can take it back to verizon and get it fixed or a new one unless someone can help me with the problem. should i try to reload my rom?

this just happened to me. some people were able to fix this by only charging their droid with the motorola charger. that didnt work for me, nothing did. but i called verizon up and it was still covered under my 1 year manufacturer warranty. so i just unrooted and put stock android 2.2 on and they sent me a replacement droid.

they sent me a "certified like new" droid 1. so not a brand new one. you send them back your old droid. you keep your battery and sd card and use it in the replacement phone.
