I was just looking to get a few opinions on the earpiece volume on the actual phone (holding phone up to head to talk, no headset). I've heard that it is surprisingly low. Some say even lower than the Galaxy Nexus which I find way too low. I use my phone in loud server rooms sometimes and with the nexus I can just barely hear people. I wouldn't be able to go lower.

    Any thoughts?

Every review I've read and watched has said the call quality and volume are exceptional. I should get my Maxx today so I will see how mine sounds. Call volume and quality are very important to me.

It's much louder than my og RAZR was. I have slightly bad hearing and it comes though loud and clear.

Interested to see what others have to say about this since lately I've been suffering with a poor set of earphones, although not with this phone.
