Ok so full disclosure I am clueless when it comes to all technology. My son broke my phone so I bought a used razr on ebay. Long story short it works but every time I turn it off or reboot it the ap fastboot screen comes up. Its not a big deal but annoying. My thought was to just install Verizons the latest update through the phone. After a dozen or more attempts at the update which failed over and over because after the update would restart the phone it would go back to AP fastboot. Finally after starting the phone in all diffident ways the update went through. Now unfortunately even with the latest update the phone still always starts in ap fastboot. From what I have read it may have been rooted or customized at some point. Anybody have any suggestions or solutions. Or should I not push it and leave well enough alone?? I read that I could brick it if I dont have the phones original info when using RSD lite.
Please take it easy on me. I have been reading for hours and have no idea
