He said he is no longer sharing this theme, even through pm...

looking back through this thread I can see why...its too bad, I wanted to give PE a try for awhile and this theme is definitely my favorite ever (ran it on SS 5.4)...
Oh well, maybe I'll try running stock like I used to before this theme won me over on SS lol

mbk is free to do what he wants with his work. i'm not sure if you read the thread, but, how would you feel if you spent a few hundred hours on something, then have others feel entitled to what you've done w/o showing a little common courtesy?

internet or not, as long as people are involved, manners go a long way :)

He has shared it with SEVERAL people. Unfortunately though there is always the select FEW, that don't deserve it and screw it up for everyone else. As RB says, manners go a long way.

People like you are why he's chosen not to share it anymore. Had you asked nicely, and been polite maybe you would have been able to...

You do the name Godric, of True Blood, a great disservice with this type of post.
Also you come across as if you have led such a pampered existence, going hyperbolic and calling what Mbk did, "a dick move". See I believe if this qualifies as that in your eyes, you've really never faced anything tough in life.

Mbk made a rational practical decision based on behavior of others in your demographic of self entitled, egomaniacal narcissists.

Just so you actually get something out of this other than browbeaten, I will generously provide you with examples where you would correctly be able to turn that classy phrase.

It's your wedding day and I bed your fiance.

I invite you to come to the sold out concert with me, and then once at the venue I tell you I got a great offer and sold your ticket. But not to worry, as I'm sure plenty of people will be scalping tickets. None are, so I leave you in the lot as I go enjoy myself.

I hold the economic future of America hostage and refuse to compromise one iota in raising the Country's revenues and work well with others. This results in catastrophic interest rate spikes due to losing our AAA+ bond rating and it's flatly stated by the bond raters that the tipping point was the intransigence you showed in your stance on revenue hikes and perhaps actually taxing the wealthy. Then you go out and blame it on the president.

Oh, and here's a good one as well, what you took the time to write in this thread?

All 4 perfectly good examples and fitting for the phrase you used.

Knowing the English language is one thing.
Using it correctly is clearly another thing all together.

Save yourself the embarrassment of attacking me in a reply, as that post space would be best used as an opportunity to apologize for being overly judgmental, rude and insulating.
Heck, I just made it that much easier, since you can cut and paste the last part above and add a few words of your own.

Take your time and mull it over. Rushing to action would be the wrong choice in such a matter.

    Rabitfoot my good man.
I take great exception, jk, to something you wrote above. You used the phrase which should never be spoke, along with its cousins.
I guess it is like the harry Potter guy who everyone is scared of; I only saw the first movie but they were not aloud to mention the guy's name.

There is no such thing as the following:
    Common Courtesy
    Common Sense
    Common Knowledge
    Tooth Fairy

The first 3 are easily proven fatuous once the definition of the word "common" is read aloud.

The last, I am still working on getting some concrete evidence. It seems fairy dust dissipates almost instantaneously. Leaving me with a buttload of ziplocks now only filled with a bit of air.

It's great to see so many of you sticking up for one of DroidForum's Elite Themers in the decision he made to stop sharing this theme. I am glad I was one of the few that managed to score this beautiful piece of artwork before the situation happened.

As for all of you who don't understand why he made his decision, read the thread first and then try to picture in your minds the several hours/days it takes to make a fully functioning theme with all the coordinating apps and framework. He doesn't do any of this for the money, because, as we all know, a very small portion of the rooted Android community donates to the developers of their favorite ROMs and themes. The developers simply do this because they want to customize their own phones to their liking and decided to share that work with the world.

So before you go passing judgement on this man for not wanting too share his hard, hard work with you, just remember that you are not worthy, neither am I.

1.) danceswithbongs, you rock and I always love reading your posts.

2.) This thread should probably be closed or let to die since it seems to only serve two purposes; debating as to whether or not the theme should be shared and what good manners would or should be. We know it will not be by the theme dev and I think we should respect Mbk's wishes and stop the madness that is this thread. Just my opinion...

Anyone else running this theme have issues with holding back button to kill apps not working either? I'm just trying to narrow down to a app or the theme causing it bc my friends droid running stock pe without a theme works fine....
    Thanks

I think I know what the root of the problem may be stemming from.
I think there are 2 sections within settings that have the identical hold back to kill option. You need to have both checked from what I remember when I changed one and it disabled the ability so both need to be selected. One is in app management's section, pretty sure under development.
The other is in the elite settings section.

Wait, just hit me, the function is also disabled if you have the more aggressive memory management option selected, the one that says to uncheck lock home on memory.
That one appears to pretty much kill whatever app you leave after using.
So the back kill becomes unnecessary. Even if the kill boxes are still checked.

So look into those as I believe you are mistaking correlation for causation.

Hope this results in getting you where you want.
