I was wondering what makes petes droidboot animation faster than the stock animation. I looked after installing it but couldn't find it in its normal place. Is it fewer part0 images? Fewer part1 images? Something else?

Well, I don't know what's in Pete's bootanimation file, but I do know that several things affect the speed of the boot.

    1) The FPS rate. A higher FPS means faster page flipping.
    2) The number of images.
    3) Number of designated repeats (most will have 1 for part0 and 0 for part1 as 0 is infinite)
    4) The size of the files. The size of the individual images affects how long you will hang on the M logo as that is when the phone loads the bootanimation.

Cool, thanks! I want to make one to match my theme, just don't want it to be a long boot
