performing super 1 click need a little help.

    complete newb and i need to install proper drivers which would be? and 2nd ive read that i need to not mount my sd card so do i need to take it out? probably a stupid question but i want to be completely postitive!

    If you connect your Droid to your PC via USB and the PC recognizes your DRoid, then most likely you alreeady have the USB driver installed on your PC.... and when they say to 'not mount' your SDCard they mean not to mount it for storage when plugged in and not that you should take the card out...

    So once it's plugged in (but not mounted), then open superoneclick, make sure it sees your Droid, and press root.... it'll finish the job on it's own from there...

    yup it took me 3 days to figure it out. i tried the rsd lite way to no avail, then joined this forum and asked around about 1 clicks and bam! so now i need a rom right?

    I would install a recovery and do a nandroid backup first.

    Easiest way to get a recovery installed is to get the free version of ROM Manager... with that you can install ClockWorkMod or SP Recovery... then as JC mentions, make a nandroid backup first before attempting to install your custom ROM
