PDANet Vs. Uncapped Data Mod

    Quick question, if you purchase PDANet, does that use uncap data? I was just curious, thanks guys.

    why would you even buy PDANet when froyo has built in usb tether?

    once rooted there really is no use for pda net, unless its for a computer with no wifi i suppose.

    Well, I was just curious because I was thinking about upgrading to a new Droid phone in the near future, that's all. I'm thinking that the Original Droid still has the best features when Rooted.

    PDANet and data throttling are completely different anyways...sometimes when you are in a highly populated area (populated as in Verizon users lol) your top speed can be capped in order to ensure that the network doesn't get bogged down. PDANet is a tethering app and is.no way associated with data throttling.
