So I recently moved, no internet wired up yet, and wanted to connect to the apartment building's wifi but couldn't find my USB wifi adapter. Then I vaguely remembered that "tethering" thing people are talking about, so I searched and got all the software I needed for the Droid and PC, transferred it via USB, and now my Droid is my temporary wifi adapter. Really saved me from an internet-less existence!
