I have used pdanet for as long as I have had the droid. I am having a repeat problem where when tethered I cannot get into gmail or yahoo homepage for some reason. Other websites are fine and when I initially installed the new update I could log into gmail and yahoo fine. Just recently it quit being able to access those two sites. Any suggestions? Its frustrating because I want to use gmail a lot thru my computer.

I know PdaNet disables secure connections after the trial period, so you might be trying to access those sites using https:// and PdaNet wants you to pay to continue using secure connections.

I am betting that is the issue.

When you are logged in to Gmail, look at the status bar of the browser at the bottom and you will see a little lock. This means it is utilizing a secure connection of some sort. ;)
