PC not recognizing disk drive

I was cleaning up my system tray and closed the sync icon, now my pc won't recognize my incredible as a disk. How do I repair this issue? I know I can always unmount the sd card and use the adapter, but that's just another step that I didn't have to do before. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
