Now that 2.3.340 is available again OTA…
Created a patch to update 1.9.0v2.3.320 with the changes in 2.3.340.

Drod has looked it over, and given me approval to release this as an official patch for Focused 1.9.0v2.3.320 (the 1.9.0 leak version).
It has been tested on 2.3.340, but should also work for those of you stuck on the 2.3.320 kernel as well.

Note: this patch was NOT meant for the non-leak version!

Info here:

Patch available for download here:
http://sephtin.com/android/rubiX/PATCH-rubiXFocused1.9.0v2.3.320TO340.zip

Install from Clockwork Recovery, do not wipe data/cache.

Enjoy!
-Seph

Edit: It was asked if this will affect themes. No, this shouldn't affect themes at all. :)
Edit2: Clarification on a few things in this post... good read:

So the kernel version did change with the OTA

I never had .320, so I can't confirm, but several reports that the .320 kernel version IS different than the .340 version, yes.

Kernel version
2.6.32.9-gca645b6

I was on .320 and flash .340

My 2.3.340: 2.6.32.9-g55626e1

Regarding flashing from .320 to .340... there is a "system" flash from .320 to .340, but I don't know of a way to get from the .320 kernel to the .340 kernel. ?
Probably not a big deal.. but who knows (wish we had a changelog. :(

This patch is for those on 2.3.320/2.3.340 ONLY.

If you're on 2.3.15, you should either apply the 2.3.320 patch, or the 2.3.340 OTA.. (which I believe, if you .sbf, and go to system upgrades, will be available to you.. (?)). Then install the leak version of 1.9.0.. then you could install this patch.

Or just stay with the non-leak version of Focused, for which this patch does not work...

I would like to know this too. My 2.15 running 1.9.0 is working flawlessly. I am kind of afraid to apply the leaked update.zip. Any advice?

This patch does nothing more than update the 2.3.320 components in Focused 1.9 Leak version... to bring them up to date to 2.3.340.

The non-leak version doesn't require this patch, it does nothing for the non-leak version. (If you're on the non-leak version, you're already up to date...)

Although, I believe drod stated that his future versions will be released specifically for 2.3.3xx only..

Install just like a regular theme/patch/etc. No wipe required. (As stated in first post. ;)
