Paranoid Android was the first to release the Halo feature last year which brought multitasking to our android devices "chatheads" style. They continue to innovate with their new Hover feature! Where halo was an ongoing always on notification system Hover is a shortlived version. Hover pops up into the notification area to alert you when you have received a notification. You can choose to dismiss it, or if you leave it alone it will go away on its own in 3 seconds. If you are actively using your device, for example when you are playing a game, hover will only show up for 1 second. If you want to check out the notification simply tap it before it goes away to open up the app the notification pertains to. This feature should be available in Paranoid Android soon!
