If you haven't tried Parallels Access for its easy to use remote access to Windows PCs and Macs, then you might want to give it a shot now. The app has finally come to both iPhones and Android devices. Until now, the app was only useable on the iPad. Luckily, over the last year, the developer has been working on a version, not only for the smaller mobile iPhone, but also for Android smartphones and tablets too.

Not only that, but the new integration with Android and iPhone devices includes new features to the app. With Android you can actually create homescreen shortcuts which go directly to apps on the remote PC or Mac. This makes it so that you can actually launch them directly without having to search through a long list of software on the remote device.

Technically, the Parallels Access remote app is free, but the service itself requires a one or two year subscription (after a 14-day free trial of the service). The cost is $19.99 for the one year or $34.99 for the two year. This allows users to access up to 5 remote computers from any of your mobile devices. Right now the company is offering a special. If you sign up before June 30, you can get the two-year subscription for just $29.99. Alternatively, there is an employers version called Parallels Access for Business. This one costs $49.99 per year, but is actually free until July 31 this year.
