can you explain this in detail, because even i got the same problem. It will not pair with the headset. When it tries to pair, the headset goes off. :(

What headset are you using? I hold the button down on my blueant q1 and say "Pair me" and it does as it's told. It needs to be in pair mode to pair.

Ok I just looked up your manual.

1 Turn off any Bluetooth devices previously paired with
your headphones.
2 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your Bluetooth
phone or music player.
3 Turn on your headphones.
The indicator light is steadily lit in blue to indicate the
headphones are in discoverable mode.
4 Place phone or music player in Bluetooth search
mode.
The phone or music player searches for your
headphones.
5 Select Motorola S9-HD from search results on your
phone or music player.
6 Select OK or Yes to pair your headphones with your
phone or music player.
7 If prompted, enter 0000 for passkey.

Good luck! Post back if you got it to work :D

i tried it. The blue light is steadily lit, and i hold the two buttons, play/pause and the call connect button together and try to pair it. But still, the phone displays the message "CANNOT ESTABLISH COMMUNICATION WITH S9-HD"

Earlier the light used to go off when i try to pair. Now, the light doesn't go off, but the phone displays the above message. :(

Take it into a Verizon store and have them do it for you there.

Corina gave you the instructions. You know how to put your phone into pairing mode. It sounds to me that your having an issue just pressing the button on the head set to let the Droid to pair on the head set itself.

There's not much else that can be said about it. So that's why I say take it to Verizon. It could be you're just not setting the headset up correctly in pairing mode, let them do it. I don't think there are any headsets out there that won't pair with the Droid and there simply isn't anything else that can be said to help.
