pairing Droid with Ford Edge w/SYNC

I'm trying to pair my Droid up the SYNC system in my Ford Edge. The vehicle displays a pass number ( 6 digits) for me to enter into the phone. The Droid won't let me finish typing the pass number in... it says a problem has occured. I know the vehicle is working cuz my wife paired her phone up just fine. The Droid even knows it's trying to pair with the vehicle cuz it displays "SYNC". Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Lots of ppl have this problem. Apparently you just need to type faster lol http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-general-discussions/1652-droid-will-not-pair-ford-sync.html read that and you might get some more help. good luck

Thanks. It sounds like the Droid bails after entering 4 digits so if I scroll to the right I can get a 4 digit pass.
