I had gotten a few of these so far and I find it annoying. I have searched online and cannot find a way to stop it but from what I hear it is using the Mobil Email that comes with the phone.

Here is what my text say.

    OZMAIL
CI=689b3aa42141fe04370588fo191c1127 MC=1 To Stop these messages simply reply to this one (charge may apply)... Now when I searched they all said that it will not work when replying STOP of any way.

Is there another email app I can use instead of the mobile app that came with the phone.

So how do you stop the texts? I've seen like a dozen different theories posted on various forums, but none of them work, the rest don't apply.

So wtf, how do I make it stop?!?

silly question but why aren't you using the native email app? My Cablevision's outlook was set up thru that and worked fine

I was getting these as well. I just kept replying with "stop" like it instructed me to do. I have not received one for a while now. Maybe it stopped.

Yes. I created a gmail email address and it fetches all of my emails from my primary charter email. Works great. You have to set up mail fetcher in your gmail settings. Also you don't have to tell anyone of your contacts about a new address because it fetches from your original address. I removed the stock mobile email app from phone.

    Okay... You lost me.

I am also getting these ozmail "text" messages. They are one big pain and I don't like being charged for them. I also have responded with a "STOP" message, but they keep coming. What does this have to do with my e-mail account?

Finally my OZMail problem seems to be solved. This was the fourth Verizon Help person to try, and after taking the time to research my history, she found that on my previous non-smart phone (Blackberry) I had enabled "mobile email." She then used a tool to disable it. That should solve it. But just to be sure, she also has blocked my Premium Messages, which originate overseas, from whence OZnet originates. Domestic text messages are not blocked. What a relief!

    Ozmail permanently blocked, I think

Logged in to Verizonwireless.com account on my laptop and found the option for blocking text messages from a particular number. I figured I better try to block it before it's pushed to my phone. Did that, but it says it is only a 90 day block. It has now been over 90 days, and no Ozmail yet.
    Hope this helps someone.
