I know it can screw my phone up if I overheat it, so what's too hot? My d2 normally idles around 85 when not overclocked.

Technically, the phone should not get too hot due to modes set in the chipset. At 135 f it should start closing apps and reducing load to save itself. At 145 the phone will shut off. Depends on how your heat builds. Games and browsing will build up, downloading and youtube or such can make it jump quickly.
