We are all waiting for htc to release the kernel source. If you are rooted you can use setcpu to bump the stock kernel to 1024mhz (makes no difference honestly) and underclock to 245mhz while the screen is off but until the kernel source is released we won't see any overclocked kernels

    For sure man...I'm with ya...

In all honestly though, I'm running The Perfect Storm v1.0 with launcherpro and I have literally no desire to overclock at this point.

Not sure what " perfect atom" is... But if you mean perfect storm, no it is not sense-less. Airborne is senseless. Tps is not.

You simply cannot overclock at this point. Like said previously. This phone FLYS. No reason to OC, only thing that will cause is draining your battery faster. If nothing lags and everything is snappy just no reason to OC. No setting up a profile to underclck when screen is off will save you a TON on battery life.

Cool it Steve Jobs...this is why Android is what is, you may not see the need, yet others might and will have the option in the future. Who are you to tell him he shouldnt? :]

It's what we already have. This is the source code needed for devs to crank out truly custom roms and to enable overclocking

Here are the Thunderbolt OC kernels

Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire

It's obvious which ones are the 1.5Ghz and 1.9Ghz. The one kernel that is labeled just DrodKernel is actually the 1.8Ghz one. I've been running the 1.9Ghz for about 5 days now without a single issue! Quadrant scores are insane. I'm only running the stock rom with it. Give it a try!!!
