The lowest stable buffer is 13. No need to go lower than that. Can't remember where I read that, but it hasn't failed me yet.

I don't think it would worsen battery life. At 1000mhz, my voltage is something like 48. The lowest is 14 with 300mhz.

My cm battery life still sux, but it really saved battery on liberty, apex, zs.

CM74D2G battery life sucks too! I have read somewhere that setting the voltage too low may cause soft errors that kills battery correcting. I guess 13 is the lowest you can go without getting worse battery life?

That's as low as I go.
You have to find the middle way, like anything in life. Going to either extreme of too high or too low will stress the system imo.
