Overclocking Droid X

Just rooted my Droid X and downloaded milestone OC app. I heard something about needing a special kernel for some phones in order to make them overclockable. Am in the clear on that or not cause milestone seems to let me of to 1.35ghz. I would like to try a different paid app tho after I stop being lazy and input my debt card info in to the marketplace. What's a good one that would let me get to at least 1.4ghz

Yea that's the one I had my eye on actually lol so im assuming then I don't need to worry about having a special kernel for me to be able to OC

No. That's the other thing about the bootloader...no custom kernels. Jrummy did an excellent job with that app though! it'll let you go to 1.45 but use caution.
