I have been overclocked to 1 Ghz for about a week and a half using the 1 Ghz ULV kernel and have had no problems until yesterday.

Yesterday and today I have needed to clear data on Astrid, the Android Market and Tweetdeck to keep them from force closing.

Could this be a result of the overclocking or is it just some random events. I would think that if overclocking was an issue, I would have seen data corruption far sooner than this.

    Opinions?

Seems like an easy thing to test for:

1). Turn down the overclock and see if the problem keeps happening
2). Install a temperature monitor app and see if it only happens when the temperature climbs

But to answer the question that you actually asked - it could be a result of overclocking or random and unrelated. Anything is possible.
