heres the deal, the processor isnt what murders your battery, its the data usage. you can underclock all day but it wont help nearly as much as turning off things that use your data. you need to turn off background data, make as many apps as you can not auto sync during the day and above all try and not download much until you make it to the charger. trust me i know all about going through batteries, i have a Defy. anyway ive done that and its made a HUGE difference.
