Overall quietness of the new Droid X

I was wondering if there is a way to increase the volume on the new DroidX? I came from the Blackberry 9530 and several of my friends have the Droid Incredible and they also have noticed that the overall volume (decible level) is alot quieter than a lot of other phones. Is there an app anywhere thats allows us to "surpass" the factory set ringer, media, speakerphone volume and have it be "LOUD"?

Mine seems much too quiet also. I hope there is some kind of fix for this in the near future.

From what I've read elsewhere, this is a software issue. I sure hope they fix it with the 2.2 update

From what i've read motorola has listened to consumers and announced that they will be releasing an ota update to fix this issue. In the mean time they listed some of the louder fingers on the X. This information can be found on phandroid. Cheers.
