Other phone adds on Droid Forums

I dont know if this has been mentioned...but does anyone else find it ironic that most of the advertisements on droidforums.net are for other cell phones? The reason I bring this up is becuase I have not seen a cell phone advertised on this site yet that wouldnt be a downgrade from the droid. I just thought this was funny...kinda a waste of add space

It's because they are using google ads to bring revenue from this site, they have no control over what is displayed.

Sucks when people put ads everywhere...... things start out as a passion and end up being a money maker and things go downhill. Just the way the net works, but there are still some sites out there for the right reasons.... and not just the money.

You see ads (not adds) for other phones because the ad company uses common terms to display ads. It's supposed to be intuitive to what is being discussed.

So if we are talking about how a Mustang loses to a Corvette on the CorvetteForums.com we might see an ad for Mustang parts.
