Must be device specific.

I'm having trouble installing this. I had unfortunately UNINSTALLED some bloatware with Titanium, and that's probably why. I also froze a lot of other apps, but I unfroze everything and I still just get "THE UPDATE FAILED". Is there any way to get the update accepted in this case? Not a huge deal, but I'd like some of the fixes it has.

You need to return your phone back to a stock configuration...by that I mean unfreeze all apps, replace any app that you may have moved or deleted (apps that you had to be rooted to move or delete) and unroot your phone. If you have voodoo root keeper installed and using it then the process is a little different, but you still need all apps unfrozen and be unrooted. If you've unrooted and you still can't get the update you can use the Razr Utility to return to stock .173 and then get the update.

If you uninstalled apps that you could not uninstall without root then you have two options. One, get the apks for the apps that you uninstalled and put them back on your phone or two, use the Razr Utility or RSD to return your phone to stock .173, then check for updates. In most cases, you will not be able to successfully download and install the OTA update with frozen or missing apps on your phone. In the future just freeze apps, removing bloatware is not necessary with the memory we have on these phones and it almost always causes problems when it comes time to update.

Just installed with no issues.

I do not like that it seems to feel the need to "re-adjust" the back light when changing screens.
Anyone elso notice this?
