OTA still not working

I tried to update my phone for the first time since root last night and it said the update failed each time.. ive unrooted and tried. re rooted and unfroze apps and tried what else can i do?

Make sure all of the stock VZW apps have been unfrozen. Try clearing all of your caches, too (in recovery). I don't think you should have to unroot before attempting the update because that in itself should break root.

Just try to get your phone as close to stock as possible, maybe do a battery pull and boot it back up again. See if that works.

With everything unfrozen do a factory data reset.

Did you do a nandroid when you first rooted?
I had the same problem. If you did a nandroid, restore it then unroot.
Worked for me.
