Hey all. Been running Pete's rooted, deodexed FRG01B for a few days, but just today I started receiving a 2.2 ota update notification again. What gives? Is verizon pushing out FRG22? What ROM do I have to install to stop getting these damn update notifications? Lol.

Again? It sounds like the file that the OTA update references wasn't properly set by Pete. Pete has claim to put a file out that is suppose to update the file that the OTA update is trying to reference to make it appear that your ROM is current.

By the way this is a quick fix for a outdated ROM/build version.

as long as you have custom recovery, it will deny the update. let it try to install and reboot and they will go away. at least they did for me with sprecovery.

Agreed. I use Clockwork Recovery. When mine tried to update, it downloaded, asked to reboot, started to install through stock recovery, then failed (file not signed correctly). I rebooted and system update status says "up to date".
