so my droid 2 orientation sensor (compass) seems dodgy lately. I use screebl, and it works about half the time.
Then I downloaded gps status, and that seems screwy too. So I'm thinking it's the sensor itself or perhaps the droid system sw.
Im using 2.3.20, rooted.

yes and yes.
Problem can pop up and disappear in a manner of minutes. Usually I can tell immediately because my screebl doesn't work correctly.
Was gonna call verizon and talk to tech support, seeing as this is my fourth droid 2 to have a problem. What's one more?

Well I can not help, but I did download Tricorder, it says i am 118.7m above sea level, and has my long and lat and the compass is pointing generally in the direction that I know is north. Cool.
