online APk file downloads

hey guys,
so i was curious and searched google for "android apk downloads"

lots of stuff came up, a couple were file share places that claimed to be giving free apps. Ive downloaded offline (swype keyboard, google earth, 2.1gallary) but idk weather this would be safe, or even a good idea.

idk what you guys think about this. looking for comments on weather u think their legit or worth trying??????

If they are free apps then I see no problem with it. Getting paid apps for free isn't cool though. We need to support our devs.

first off, i dont think a pirated app would ever update, because isnt the market downloads tied into your google account? and if you dont dl thru the market, how would it alert you that theres an update available? it would think you didnt have it.

secondly, always support the devs. they put a lot of hard work into making these phones better.

Yea I understand I was just curiouw on the topic, I buy all my appds and support the devs.

This is just like torrented apps, their out their to, just stealing from devs
