When you first think about a speed-test comparing the new OnePlus 3 up against the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, you might assume that the OnePlus 3 would come out as the winner. That is because the OnePlus 3 has 6GB of RAM vs. the 4GB in the S7 Edge. Also, both devices have similar generation processors. As is frequently shown though, making assumptions is generally a mistake, and this time is no different.

It turns out that the Galaxy S7 Edge actually "edges" ahead of the OnePlus 3 by a hefty margin. This can only be attributed to better RAM management and general software and hardware optimizations from Sammy's engineers. It's also obvious that the Exynos chip in the S7 Edge is simply better engineered than Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820. The video shared above, from YouTube blogger C4ETech, clearly illustrates this.
