For most of us rooting our phones means unlocking the bootloader, flashing TWRP or some other custom recovery, then flashing the supersu file inside of our custom recovery. There are quite a few devices however that have root methods that don't require you to install a custom recovery. If you have one of these device you may be looking for a root method that does not require you to run commands in ADB.
The "Recovery Tools" app allows for one click installation of Clock Work Mod Recovery, Team Win Recovery Project, and some other custom recoveries to a long list of supported devices. Before using this app you should have a pretty good grasp on root functions and what a custom recovery is. If you use this app mindlessly you will end up with a brick. One of the only ways you can actually hard brick a device is by flashing the wrong recovery file to your phone so be very careful when using this tool. Grab the app from the link below.
