Yeahyeah planning to send it back and hope for another one with raised buttons..think I should? What do you mean sweet keyboard..? Standard?! Wtf that keyboard is flat and ugly and totally not designed by for the typical texter..I am really sad now, its like I traded off my physically disabled child for a really physically child with posture problems.

only a select few droids came with the raised button keyboard, not sure why they changed the design to the flat boring keyboard, but it would be sweet if you could put the one keyboard on the new phone

Chances are you will not be lucky enough to get another droid with raised keys. You'll get used to the flat ones soon enough, we all have.

swap them keyboards or screens, whichever is easier. dont be scurred! i got a new frame ordered for my screen and i'm gonna tear into it and change that out. can't be that hard just keep up with what goes where. take pics too for extra tiny stuff as that helps.

is it a new phone they sent you or a refurb?

wait so your keys are completely flat? All of my keys are raised, i thought they were all like that and people just called them flat cuz they weren't as raised as other phones. I was always surprised when people complained about the keyboard. I've had mine since december. I checked under the battery and mine says 39/09. Did they release two version at the same time or something?

definitely a design flaw imo..i know reading the forums that a few months ago motorola mentioned that they knew the keyboard had problems and were gonna send out new ones..i figured mine with the raised up keys would be a the "new" one.. i was wrong.

Now, as stupid as it sounds...i feel like i wanna keep the scarred one just because the keyboard is nicer LOL. i'm such a princess but yeah looking at it i guess i have no other choice but to keep the flat. asurion told me that, that model is the only ones they have and the "flat" is standard.

Motorola you uber fail in this department, first the delay of 2.1, now..this..sigh.
