Old Useless Apps

Hey my question is how can i remove an old app from my phone if its not showing up in the market in downloaded apps to uninstall it?

go to settings>>>applications and uninstall from there

astro filemanager is a pretty good app to have...

I actually didn't even know you could uninstall via Market->Downloads. I've always gone through Settings->Applications.
