No more sound lag...go DL the latest version of flash player 10.1.95.2
Adobe has always been a high quality die-hard company.
This isnt a surprise to me that they have fixed it.
On the other hand...
flash doesn't show up for me in the market. I've been on 4.7 since it came out and switched to 4.8 yesterday. The build.prop file says FRG22D as well in the fingerprint, so I'm not sure what else could be causing the problem for it not to show up in the market for me.
go grab the beta flash 10.1.92.1 online (check chevys source directory in the 4.7 thread. Extract zip....grab flash apk file. Install it.
Then go to market and it will say for you to update (I think), then update. If update fails, go to manage applications and uninstall original flash player and go to the market and try the new install.
Flash has always showed up on the market for me. But there has to be a workaround if yours isnt
Hmmm flash shows up in the market now somehow...weird. But it's 10.1.95.2 so that's cool. Thanks for the tip
Though I usually just installed the flash player 3.apk I had from Chevy when I wanted to use flash, cuz it would be slow web browsing it seemed like, so I just installed it when I needed it then uninstalled. But this new one seems to work much better. Especially running 4.8 and I just upgraded to the 1.2 medium voltage kernel. Things are running VERY smooth I must say. Thanks alot Chevy, beautiful work.
some ROM's let me see flash some don't.. for example, my wife's Droid 1 was just running Jrummy's Pink-Life theme, it didn't allow her to see flash in the market. I just put UD 8 on it w/ Cuttalott's Hot Pink Glass theme, flash shows up fine. Not sure what is diff from ROM to ROM though :/
Yes, the newest version .95.2 is the one that I installed today and it got rid of the slurred speech in streaming video/audio.
I just didnt know you could directly download w/o going through market. I guess adobe has the .apk file online.
Either way...glad you got it worked out.
Every time I try to install the update from the market my phone reboots before it finishes. Any ideas on what I can do to fix that?
what kernel are you using?
Med volt 1.1. The latest one that dropped along with 4.8
what are you overclocking to? If you are doing 1ghz or more...try underclocking to like 800 for the download.
See if that helps.
Gonna give that a shot. I'm running at full power so dialing CPU back may help.
Update : same results after taking the CPU down to 800
