OG Droid dropped, now wont read SD card

Hey all. Dropped my OG droid a few days ago, and all seems well with it except it no longer reads my microSD card. It gives me a message that a "blank or unsupported file system" exists but when I choose to format or mount, neither option does anything. I've rebooted and tried again multiple times. Any ideas?

Have you looked to see if the sd slid out a little. You may have to push it back in.

I have fiddled with it as well as completely removing it and putting it back in. Would it be worth taking to a Verizon store or am I looking at large fees?

I'd take it in and see what they say. Or maybe call first. That way if they cant fix it, you wouldnt waste a trip. I cant seeing them charge you anything to look at it.

This is just a guess, but maybe when you dropped it, something broke loose inside. Like the solder around one of the terminals.
