i just picked up a used OG droid and i was wondering...
should it charge with my DX usb cables and the cable that came with the DX dock? because it doesnt. it only charges with the usb cable it came with... the plugs look IDENTICAL when they're next to each other. is this normal?

thanks

Its like my ps3 controller. My bet is the voltage... not sure how different the x is compared to D1.

thats a good point.
both batteries are 3.7v li-ion batteries
so who knows. crazy stuff
Just as a random question, Do the charger look similar? If i were moto im sure i would just have one trype of usb for all phones. Expecially since they use the same heads...

the part that goes in the phone looks identical when they're next to each other.
the one for the dock is like 3-4 feet long so its nice to use
it charges the DX (when plugged straight in or into the dock) but it won't charge when plugged straight into the D1
