While Im here, and thinking about it, Id like to ask people here, and see what they think can be hosed or changed in the current ROM, to go into the next major release. The more I remove, the smaller the ROM becomes, and the faster it runs (even a little bit is an improvement). Id like to drop it to under 60MB if possible, and I bet I can. Also, what could be changed, visual, audio, boot animation, UI sounds, layout....

    I think things like:

    * Of the 5 lockscreen styles (Sliding Tab, Rotary, Rotary Revamped, Lense, and Ring), which (if any) would you never use?

    * Removal of the free Tethering apps

    * Bigger numbers/letters in the dialer

    * Black keyboard, white keys, black letters/numbers/symbols?

Well, Ive fixed a couple small bugs that have been around for the past 2 main releases. Also got a little more performance out of it, as well as some battery savings. There have been a few UI changes so far, and more to come.

You know, its amazing how much more tweaking can be done to a Gingerbread ROM!!!!! v14.0 final public release should be well worth the wait!

Well, Im making a LOT of progress. And just today, got a new section to my website up and running. I now have a FORUM! This should make things a lot easier when talking about the ROM, and various other things. There was no way for users to communicate with me before, except for here, but now you can participate in all the fun!

I still creep around here every once in a while, but I'm now 3 Android phones past the OG. OG to Samsung Galaxy Nexus to Moto X (2013) to now the Nexus 6, so the good ol OG is way past even being my backup haha.

Good to know people still look here. lol @The Race To Die, Im way beyond that as well, but you would be surprised at the number of people that STILL have or use the D1, even if its just a media player. Also, being the ONLY developer that still supports the original device, is AWESOME! lol

@themib I JUST downloaded a few SBF files for the D2G from your links. Unfortunately, the D2G that @FoxKat sent me, was flashed to .629, so theres no chance of downgrading it to 2.4.33, so I can test my Gingerbread ROM on it. What version is your running? Also, same with the D2. Im looking to get my ROM functional on both of those phones again. After that, possibly the X and X2, but one thing at a time.

@themib , if you want to post testing information on my forum, that will help keep things organized. I have to admit, this thread is getting pretty big, but Im starting to do all my postings and whatnot on my site. Im not looking to replace DroidForums, just have a forum for my ROMs specifically.

We may need to chip in and get @chevycam94 a new device to develop roms for. I applaud you for your tenacity though.

All my devices have been updated to newest firmware.
I don't know if you know anything about building TWRP, but the droid X has a working TWRP and working CM11
We tried to port TWRP to D2 and D2G but it would not boot, and it was beyond my ability.

@cr6 I like the way you think. By no means do I EXPECT anyone to get me a new device. If you guys want to help me out, and get me something new, I will certainly by thankful. I have the LG G3, but its already kind of outdated, and there doesnt seem to be the presence in that scene that there used to be.

Whatever you guys choose to do, I will make it worth your time! I appreciate everything that my users have done for me in the past, and Im proud to bring my work to the masses.

I tried to build TWRP for the GNex a while back, and failed miserably. lol I just couldnt get it to build. Not sure what I was doing wrong, but I fought with it for about 2 weeks and gave up. Originally I was wanting to make a custom build with a new built-in theme, and display the temp in F not C. I might try TWRP again, but wont be right now. lol
