    Ok, DL was clean. D2G Rom freezes at Red Motorola "M" logo after flash. Wound up SBFing back to stock b/c CWM wouldn't open up. Think ill install a hijacked bootmenu next time so I can get back, lol. Is this rom going to be a GB rom w/some Android L goodies or a ICS based rom?

    FoxKat is sending me a D2G to test live on. Once I get it, I will start testing and seeing whats wrong. In the meantime, try flashing another kernel for it, see if that solves it. That might do it right there.

    Locked bootloader on D2Gs that took the OTA Gingerbread update, I don't know of any aftermarket kernels and I don't think anyone has done a KEXEC type rom. I tried flashing it again, It stayed on the initial "loading update " line before reporting the flash as being completed.

    Yeah, sorry I forgot the D2 had a locked BL. My bad. Been too long since I messed with them.

    Yep, one of the only failings of an otherwise awesome phone. OTOH, what other phone is capable of switching from Verizon to AT&T on the fly, lol! BTW, was GSM data working on the last D2G version of the ROM?

    I had a few hours free today to work on the D2G booting issue, but, of course, I forgot the phone @FoxKat lent me at home. Go figure. Guess I will continue to work a little on the D1 build. Update some graphics, clean up the code, change some performance tweaks. Little things. I'll keep you guys up to date on how build v13.2 is coming along as I progress.

    So, I FINALLY got around to doing a HUGE update to my website, Steel ROMs I got a LOT of things uploaded that I have been meaning to get up for a while. Below is a list of what I have put up.

    * Droid 1 SBF files (7 of them, ranging from FRK76, all the way back to ESD20 (Android 2.0))
    * RSDLite 5.7
    * Windows Device Manager 2.5.4 (Windows drivers and utilities)
    * Two old D1 ROM builds of my ROM (10.2 and 11.0)

    I have personally tested all links by downloading each one, and comparing the MD5s to those of the original uploads. Everything is good to go. Also, to save space and bandwidth, I have compressed everything into zip files when reasonable. For the SBF files, for example, when compressed, only take up about 50% of the uncompressed counterpart.

    Let me know what you think. Droid 3 uploads are coming next. Just need to get everything sorted out locally, then I can push up the changes.

    Need a couple testers really quick. I got a notice from the DMCA that one of my repos contained copyrighted code. Its nothing I did, it was between svox (speech synthesizer) and the original code creator. I have removed that repo, and made a new build. I just need to know if everything works right still. I dont have my phone to test with. Its just over 1000 miles from me right now.

    Well, this Droid 2 booting issue is kicking my butt! I only get about an hour a night to work on it. So I have to thank @FoxKat again for loaning me the D2G. Just wish I had a booting ROM for it by now.

    On the other hand, I have started to add new things to Steel Droid. More streamlined UI graphics, performance improvements (however small they may be), code cleanup, better ad blocking, and hopefully better battery life. With the number of changes being made, I might just bump the next version up to v14.x. Im not completely satisfied with the UI design, but Im not a themer, so Im only so-so with graphics. But I like to keep things simple. I will keep my web page updated with my current progress, and any preXX builds.

    Im trying guys, it just takes a lot of time for a solo developer! :confused:
