Pffffff , Galaxy S2 released three months ago still beats this phone that isn't even released yet . Probably by the time it gets to US it'll still beat the next Motorola phone at the time .

With all the hype and everything, I was definitely expecting more.

I am questioning these specs because it says that it is the Droid Bionic XT865. When we know that the New model is XT875.

Could be they forgot to update the top. The specs seem pretty accurate from what we already know and it does show the OMAP instead of the Tegra.

We didn't already know anything. All the specs we thought we knew are all rumors. Nothing has been officially announced or confirmed.

Maybe you didn't know anything but the specs have been around. Whether or not you believed them was up to you. This is confirmation in my eyes.

What exactly is so disappointing?

Arent these the specs everyone was pretty much expecting? Are people here hoping that it'd come with a 2.0ghz dual core proccessor, 2GB RAM, and ice cream sandwhich?

The specs posted here easily smash all other 4G phones on Verizon.

Agreed. It's not like there a lot of phones with these specs plus LTE.

I think its just that there has been this suggestion by the insiders that this WILL be the phone to have. That to me, would imply hardware configurations notably greater than any current models, or SHORTLY released models. To me this is a D3 with a little more ram, slightly larger screen and 4g... to me it just seems like another step in the evolution of mobile tech. Not a technological leap as those would have had us believe.

I know the specs have been around, but tell me which ones have you gotten official word from?? Yes, we know it's going to be an OMAP processor, but which one hasn't officially been confirmed. And if you want to go with what specs had been around, the front camera was supposed to have better resolution than VGA. VGA was on the original Bionic. Hell, the rumor of an Aug 4th release had been around also, but that didn't make it happen, did it? I've been around since the announcement at CES and have heard/read every rumor thought to be confirmed not be true. Like Preach said, there are inconsistencies in the specs on the MotoDev page that make it's authenticity questionable. Maybe you didn't know anything, but until something is officially announced nothing is certain.

I am going to wit it out and see. My next phone must be Dual Core and 4G. So the Bionic is the only choice for me. September is my limit. My Storm1 is on it's last leg.

Well I will probably get this phone when it comes out. It'll be the best 4G phone available most likely. The only exception is if the SGSII is out and it's 4G. If it's not 4G, going with Moto.

It easily should be, dual core and LTE on Verizon will instantly make it one of the best if not the best phone available.

Problem is that there are 3g phones that are just as good if not better than this. YES...it smashes all 4G PHONES....but not all phones.

Am I wrong? Aren't "Flagship" devices supposed to be industry changing? Better than the rest? Not...."well it was better than everything that was out when we announced it"

But when you add 4G to the mix, it's an entirely different game to make everything play nice with each other, especially battery and resource management.

Eh.. maybe I had different expectations, but I never got the feeling that the phone was supposed to be some huge techological leap. In fact, my expectations are basically a DroidX2 with 4G radio lol.

Once again, what exactly are you guys expecting? If you've been following the leaks and everything for the past 9 months, it was clear that you'd get a 4G LTE phone with dual core processor and 512-1GB of RAM.

Everyone keeps saying "It's just a Droid 3 with LTE".. OK, the Droid 3 is a pretty sweet device. Add LTE to it and it'd be awesome. It'd definitely be the best phone in Verizon's current lineup.

The only thing I see posing a threat the Bionic is the SGSII which we dont even know when it might be coming or even if it will have LTE. I have a POS Thunderbolt and the phone sucks, but LTE IS AWESOME. I dont care if the SGSII is faster than the Bionic.. no LTE, no care.
