Loaded it up with no issues. Played with all of my standard apps and all worked fine with the exception of wireless tether. Was at bb v0.4 with wireless tether working so just went back until bb v0.5 comes out. Did not discover any thing new on the new release that I did not already have and was using on bb v0.4 . Nice job though Pete. Definetly up to your standard.

For most people it will probably be on either 6th, 7th or 8th.

i forced it from the update.zip thats posted over @ androidf.

pretty nice update, feels major. 5 home screens, rotate allowed in both directions, but cant get used to the ringer modes .... its either vibrate or silent, cant easily pixk either with the volume rocker, have to go to settings....

    overall i like

wats the story with flash, is it baked in or must i add via the market ?

Yeah I know. My wife works for VW, and I like giving her a hard time about the update. She said I would have it by the 13th. But if I do not get it soon I might just download it to see what it is like, and if I don't like it just flash back to the rom I was using.

this hasnt been covered yet (i dont think)...

If you have Swype, it will not work after the update. You have to uninstall it using app manager, then re-download and install it using the swype installer.

i cant say if this will be the same for everyone, this was just my experience this morning.

I had the same issue. I could type with Swype but not swipe with Swype. Also, this morning I had no luck getting my "B&B Droidlight" to work or my "Droidlight" to work. I tried uninstalling and installing the Droidlight again and NO LUCK. Anyone know of an LED flashlight that will work with Froyo?

I've had that issue with Swype every time I've changed ROMs.

Mototorch has always worked good for me as a LED flashlight.

Thanks...I think I figured out the issue with my LED light. I had the camera running in the background and I had used the LED on the video to test it out. I did a battery pull and everything seems okay. smh
