    Yep..FroYo did that for my Nexus..entirely different phone. Nexus users await Gingerbread. :icon_ banana:

    Ended up doing the manual installation on my D1 in Vacaville, CA. All works well except iMobsters game - screens are now pretty messed up.

    Did the force update to 2.2 and so far it is working great.

    Has anyone here actually gotten 2.2 OTA today?!?

    ...and not had to manually install it. I read the supposedly official thread on Droid 1's froyo release and couldn't find any. Trying to get some sense on how wide/ fast its coming....

    Question - does the manual update retain all apps and settings? It's pretty much like an OTA update, right?

    well the 20k people downloading it directly are going to mess up the stats...

    i could have gotten it now but already updated so ill never know, same with 2.1 :|

    As I did for 2.1, I'm waiting for OTA. Get too flustered when things go awry and don't have a cute nerd in-house to rescue me
    :)

    I heard that the official Froyo for Motorola 1 does not have the tethering option. I have simply stunning with all the bells and whistles and it works fantastic. Even overclocked to 1.25 MHz. Thanks to the developers we have more than Verizon or Motorola will give us
