I just ran both phones in Linpack. Same screen name as here. Check out how much faster the Atrix 4G is compaired to the I Fascinate.

7mflops vs. 36+mflops

The display on the Samsung is a LOT brighter, but the rez on the Atrix looks better than my brother's Iphone 4, no exaggeration.

It is hard to comprehend how smoking fast and smooth the Atrix is. EVERYTHING just happens almost before you even push the button.

I do have the Speedtest.net app but I used their actual website. They revamped it and it looks awesome now.

I have to use Skyfire to use the actual site instead of the app.

My Fascinate, stock will do on speedtest.net using home wi-fi 14.94 mbps down and 1.93 mbps up, ping 50 ms, server 656 miles away.

I think that's pretty good for our phones.

Very nice dl speeds.

I also found that the Fascinate works best when your wifi router is set to a specific protocol, such as N-only or G-only. If you have it set up as "mixed " it slows the speeds WAY down.

I haven't tried it with the Atrix though.

I have been comparing benchmarks between the Atrix and the Fascinate, and while of course the Atrix 4G with its dual core cpu and FroYo smokes the Sammy in anything dealing with the cpu, I am quite surprised to see how much of a graphics monster the Sammy is.

The two phones are very close in scores with each other. Although because of the resolution bump on the Atrix, it still obviously has a lot more horsepower under the hood.

The Atrix scores a bit better than the Fascinate in every graphics bench I throw at it and that is with it pushing out 960x540 qHD.

Using SmartBench2011 I get the following :

Atrix 4G 2352 CPU / 2363 GRAPHICS
Fascinate 453 CPU / 2325 GRAPHICS

The Fascinate really does have some serious graphics power.

Atrix 4G 2352 CPU / 2363 GRAPHICS
Fascinate 453 CPU / 2325 GRAPHICS

The Fascinate really does have some serious graphics power.

I just updated my Atrix 4G to 2.2.2 and reran SmartBench2011, and the scores have jumped!

It now hits 2915 CPU / 2395 GRAPHICS
