This is one of those reasons why I didn't buy an iPhone, Steve Jobs is just crazy, but I'm pretty sure he's just jealous :icon_ banana:

I think this and other events are a result of a business friendship gone bad.

    Oh the irony.

How many people remember the famous 1984 ad that introduced the Macintosh?

Cupertino is looking more like Animal Farm than 1984 these days, though.

I admire Steve Jobs for many of the things he's done, but this sure isn't one of them.

    Wow. Just...Wow. Really?

Is it ok to still think Woz is cool since he's not really that involved any more?

I don't have a link to support it, but my iPhone fanboy friend told me today that apple bought a map company, so no more Google maps eventually, and their default search is going to be Bing!...

Apple is like the crazy girlfriend that caught her boyfriend cheating. Banning Android from their existence is like the gf throwing out his clothes on the lawn.

It's comedy, really. And obviously the higher-ups @Apple really don't have a clue in how to manage communities or understand letting something like this "slide" without comment will let business go on as-usual (no one would have noticed). Instead, they basically screwed themselves over such a trivial thing. <shrug>

Wasn't Apple the dominate platform before Windows?

That's what he said. He reads a LOT of forums and sites like endgadget. Not sure where this specific info came from though...

And I in my own demented little way fight back by eradicating Bing from every computer that I control. I found one in the lab today that had a Bing infestation in Firefox. Since the students can't install apps, I think it came along with a Java update. :((

No, they have never even been close to DOS/Windows in terms of market share.
