I have tried all methods in this thread except using Matts utility to go back to stock (i am rooted with voodoo root keeper set to un rooted).
I keep getting error 7. Not even gonna guess how many times I have tried the ICS OTS. My phone hasn't bricked, I am always able to reboot.
Should I do the matts utility route and then do the update?
I have worked so hard at doing this that now I am determined to get this damn update!

Yes, but I would unroot, and then run the utility, but that's me!
