The newest trailer for director Chris Nolan's upcoming sci-fi movie, Interstellar, just hit the web. It's obviously not Android related at all, but it gave me chills watching it, so I simply had to share it. What is most intriguing about the film is that it takes the old formula of needing to "save the world" and targets it much closer to reality than most movies do.

Setting aside politics, there are a great many smart people in the world predicting that the real problems we will face in the middle/later part of the 21st century will be running out of the resources of water and food instead of oil and money. This movie drives home that very distinct possibility, and brings with it the vibe of all humans striving together for the greater good. Wouldn't that be a thing to see?

There was a time in my life when I wasn't so busy that I couldn't make time on Friday or Saturday night to watch a movie. That time has passed. lol.

Anyway, this looks like a great movie. I have to find time, somewhere, to catch it.

Another scifi movie Matthew McConaughey played very well in was Contact, so looking forward to this one.

Looks pretty good but honestly if it is less than 3 hours I have no idea how they are going to fit that all in and not make it feel rushed.
