i know their are guides out their but my question is more specific. Im wondering about the kernals....
    "-600Mhz LV 5X *Already Included*
    -800Mhz LV 7X
    -1Ghz LV 7X
    -1.1Ghz LV 7X
    -1.1Ghz SV 7X
    -1.2Ghz LV 7X
    -1.2Ghz IV 7X
    -1.3Ghz LV 7X
    -1.3Ghz IV 7X "
Whats the difference between LV and IV? ive got bb 1.1 -1.2 iv 7x(Lv is not available in rom manager) and just am wondering if one is smoother than the other? im going after battery life, so thats the deciding facter. also i found a link to a p3 site thats got alot of kernals also, would any of those be better?
im kinda new to Oc-ing so thats why im a tad confused... btw if i do decide to change my kernal can i just overwrite the current one? or am i going to have to do a data wipe and such....?

LV is Low Voltage and IV is increased voltage...that's the only difference, low takes up less power. And if you switch kernels, you can just override your old one, no wipe needed.
