I've got the K1, the updated version. I love it. Replaced my 2012 N7.

Neither have I. Pretty sure that's only for the original version, not the k1. I haven't used mine for more than reading every night & the occasional game, but I haven't noticed any issues at all.

I have one. I love this beast. I bought it when it first came on the market. They even replaced it with a brand new one when they had the battery recall issue. I have to say the best tablet I have ever used. I look forward the successor to it or even a 10" model.
