My rooted droid running 2.2 connects and pairs fine with my alpine nve-p1 bluetooth. The problem I'm having is when I get a call or view the phonebook or anything that displays contact name text for that matter.... is it looks like it's encrypted or something. I've searched and search and found nothing. Anyone having this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks in advance

I know this is an old thread, but I am having the same issue, and I was wondering if you ever found a solution.

I was able to connect my phone to the older Blackbird 2 (PMD-B200) and the phone book did show all my contacts correctly, but for some reason the newer NVE-P1 does not.
